Newton’s First Law
Newton’s First Law: We choose a particular object as the object of interest – the system. If no other objects interact with the system or if the sum of all external forces exerted on the system is zero, then the system continues moving at constant velocity (including remaining at rest) as seen by observers in the inertial reference frames.
If F = 0 then a = 0 and v = constant
F: Force
a: Acceleration
v: Velocity
